About Kathy
Kathy is a Yoga Alliance–registered 500-hour instructor trained in the Kripalu tradition, which emphasizes compassion and self-awareness. With over 30 years as a student and more than 6,000 hours of teaching, she makes yoga accessible to all bodies through a gentle, mindful, and trauma-informed approach.
Her specialties include Beginners Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative, Yin, Yoga Nidra, and Joint Freeing Yoga. She also holds advanced training in Meditation, the Chakra System, Ayurveda, and is certified in multiple energy modalities, with Reiki as her preferred practice.
Outside the studio, Kathy enjoys hiking York’s trails, reading, and connecting with loved ones.
