Astro 101 – Module 3 (The Modes & Elements)

Tuition – $65/person
This is the fourth of nine planned hybrid in-person and online workshops covering the basic principles of Astrology taught by South-Central Pennsylvania astrologer Pat Dumas. All materials are provided by the instructor. In addition, Pat will moderate an area on Firefly Hollow Wellness Center’s Mighty Networks platform in which questions can be posed and answered, continued class discussion can occur, and exercises based upon each lesson will be offered and explored. Purchase of this workshop tenders access to this online area for one year; subsequent participation in this area will hinge upon the student’s membership in the Firefly Hollow Mighty Networks platform. At the end of the nine workshops, the student who attends all classes will have a 9-chapter workbook/text reflecting the basic tenets of astrology, an astrological glossary, and exercises to foster continued retention.

Rissa Miller is an editor, author, herbalist, seer, and storyteller. It’s rare to find Rissa without tea. No matter where she is or what she’s doing, a mug of green tea is her constant companion. Tea is one part of her love of plants. She holds a deep reverence for plants and the answers they offer, whether as tasseographs in a teacup, smoke in the air, a healing salve for the skin, a plant on the windowsill, or nourishment for the body. In addition to adoring tea and herbs, her love of plants is made complete by the fact she is a vegan of 29 years. She studied herbalism at Chestnut School and the Herbal Academy.
