Drum Circle with Ed Haggard
Presented by Ed Haggard of The Love Drums
Friday, September 11, 2026 || 7-8:30pm EST

Ed has many years of experience as a drummer, teacher and performer with his band, The Love Drums. He’s also a professional drum circle facilitator having worked with many groups of all types. This will be a great evening learning some drumming rhythms, then jamming and dancing. Ed will share techniques to get good sounds while learning some essential drum language to use in drum circles and jam sessions. This event will blend drum class and drum circle, so you can have the benefit of both.
Learn some cool drum parts everyone loves. Then, jam out and improvise with them. All experience levels welcome. This event is sure to be a thrill and a grounding experience that leaves you blissed out.
For anyone needing to borrow a drum for this experience – Ed is providing drums for a love offering (donate what you can, if you can) for being able to use one of the drums. *This is donation is separate from the class fee.

About Ed
Ed Haggard has been drumming since he was 13 years old. He started his band and company, The Love Drums, in the 90’s and has performed often. He’s taught thousands of classes and facilitated many drum circles. He’s taken many classes with many great teachers and is grateful for all of them. Ed is a drum vendor and repairs rope tuned drums. His love for drums and drumming has only increased over the years. Yin Yoga with Reiki

Fall is the time of year when we begin the process of going within. Yin Yoga is a gentle practice where seated and reclining poses are sustained for 3-5 minutes giving the body/mind an unparalleled opportunity to soften & surrender. The addition of Reiki (optional) further deepens the opportunities for you to let go. This is a class not to be missed!

About the Practitioner:
Kathy is a 500-hour Yoga Instructor registered with Yoga Alliance trained in the Kripalu lineage. She has been a yoga student for 30 years and has more than 6000 hours of yoga teaching experience. Her specialty is making yoga accessible to all the unique bodies that take her classes. She teaches Beginner’s yoga, Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yoga Nidra, & Restorative Yoga all through a gentle, mindful, trauma-informed lens. When not practicing or teaching yoga, she enjoys exploring the walking and hiking trails of York, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
