Heat, Bamboo, and Happy Hands
Are you ready to give your hands a break while giving your clients the deepest relaxation of their lives? At Firefly Hollow Holistic Wellness Center, we are thrilled to host an immersive, hands-on CE class that introduces you to the versatile world of Warm Bamboo Massage (sign up here).
Led by Bradford Nicarry (NCBTMB Provider #1354), this 16-credit hour CE course is designed for therapists who want to stay ahead of the curve. If you’ve been relying on hot stones, it’s time to meet the tool that is faster to prep, easier to clean, and incredibly effective.
Why Choose Bamboo?
It’s a bit of 8th-grade science: Heat expands. When you apply the consistent, penetrating warmth of bamboo, the client’s muscles melt, and—perhaps more importantly—the therapist’s hands benefit from that same soothing heat.
- Efficiency: Significantly faster setup and cleanup than traditional stone therapy.
- Versatility: Use it directly on the skin or through sheets/clothing.
- Ergonomics: Let the tools do the heavy lifting to extend the longevity of your career.
- Integration: Easily weave bamboo into your existing modalities or launch it as a standalone premium service.

His journey began in 1991 through Tang Soo Do, where he achieved the rank of E Dan (2nd Degree Black Belt) and began his teaching career in 1996. This foundational discipline in martial arts naturally evolved into a deep exploration of Tai Chi, yoga, and manual therapy.
Bradford’s clinical expertise is rooted in rigorous training; he graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage in 2001 and completed advanced studies in 2004 to deepen his mastery of anatomy and therapeutic technique. In 2013, he founded Float Yoga of Lancaster in Lititz, PA—a sanctuary offering a diverse range of services including professional massage therapy, Restorative yoga, and Vinyasa flow.
A pioneer in movement, Bradford expanded his repertoire in 2012 by completing specialized training in Aerial Yoga with elite aerial dance performers from New York City and Rhode Island. Today, he bridges the gap between practice and pedagogy as a certified NCBTMB Continuing Education provider, sharing his extensive knowledge of bodywork and holistic wellness with the next generation of therapists.
