About Emily
Emily is a currently licensed massage therapist with over two decades of experience in the healing arts. She began her journey at the Somatherapy Institute in Rancho Mirage, California in 2000, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in Biology from York College of PA—all while actively practicing massage therapy.
Her hands-on experience spans ten years in the field, including seven years at the renowned Spa at the Hotel Hershey. She has also worked in chiropractic offices, day spas, and ran her own mobile massage practice, Massage by Emily. This diverse background has given her a deep understanding of the body and a well-rounded, intuitive approach to care.
Emily brings a holistic and integrative perspective to massage therapy, combining technical skill with a rich foundation in complementary healing modalities. She is certified in Manual Lymph Drainage and has completed advanced training in Colorpuncture—a gentle, needle-free form of acupuncture that uses colored light to stimulate healing points on the body. Colorpuncture is particularly effective in addressing energetic imbalances, emotional blockages, and chronic conditions, making it an ideal complement to her bodywork practice.
In addition to her massage and Colorpuncture expertise, Emily is a certified Reiki Master Teacher, health coach, and meditation facilitator. She has completed Candy Nicolson’s Transformational Energy Healing Program, which incorporates shamanic practices, and she currently co-facilitates the Mind Body Detox Program with Kara Lovehart.
Emily offers sessions that blend therapeutic massage, Colorpuncture, Reiki, acupressure, chakra balancing, and energy medicine. Her goal is to support each client’s unique healing journey by integrating physical, emotional, and energetic care for lasting wellness and deep relaxation.
