This class provides massage therapists with the knowledge and hands-on skills to safely and effectively work with prenatal clients. You will explore the anatomical and physiological changes that occur during each trimester, including musculoskeletal adaptations, postural shifts, and joint laxity. You will learn proper positioning and draping techniques for side-lying and semi-reclined positions to maximize client comfort and safety. The course covers contraindications, high-risk pregnancy considerations, and how to adapt techniques for each stage of pregnancy.
Hands-on practice will focus on prenatal massage techniques, targeted gentle stretching, and techniques to address common areas of tension, including the lower back, hips, shoulders, and neck. You will also learn how to utilize intake forms effectively to assess client needs and ensure safe treatment planning.

About the Instructor
Jenn Taylor is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Florida and an NCBTMB Approved Provider (#1424). All of her classes are approved through NCBTMB and also registered with CE Broker for Florida licensees. Jenn is also a Nervous System Coach helping women calm the chaos in their lives. She is also an Energy Practitioner, an Instinctive Meditation Coach, and holds several certifications in the holistic field.
Jenn began her massage therapy career in 2006 and became a Continuing Education Instructor in 2014. Teaching has always been one of her greatest passions and she specializes in Prenatal and Postpartum Massage Education. She is committed to sharing practical, current information that helps massage therapists refine their techniques, deepen their understanding, and expand their professional toolbox.

Continuing Education Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your enrollment OR If a class is canceled by an instructor the cost will be credited to your account for future use or refunded by check, minus any credit card fees.
Refunds will not be given for no-shows or cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class.
