Ed has many years of experience as a drummer, teacher and performer with his band, The Love Drums. He’s also a professional drum circle facilitator having worked with many groups of all types. This will be a great evening learning some drumming rhythms, then jamming and dancing. Ed will share techniques to get good sounds while learning some essential drum language to use in drum circles and jam sessions. This event will blend drum class and drum circle, so you can have the benefit of both.

Learn some cool drum parts everyone loves. Then, jam out and improvise with them. All experience levels welcome. This event is sure to be a thrill and a grounding experience that leaves you blissed out.

For anyone needing to borrow a drum for this experience – Ed is providing drums for a love offering (donate what you can, if you can) to be able to use one of the drums. *This donation is separate from the class fee.

About Ed

Ed Haggard has been drumming since he was 13 years old. He started his band and company, The Love Drums, in the 90’s and has performed often. He’s taught thousands of classes and facilitated many drum circles. He’s taken many classes with many great teachers and is grateful for all of them. Ed is a drum vendor and repairs rope tuned drums. His love for drums and drumming has only increased over the years. As we move out of the colder, inward months of winter, this specialty spring workshop is designed to gently support the body’s natural detoxification and renewal processes.

Spring Detox Flow blends silicone cupping, gentle yoga, breathwork, and Kundalini-inspired movement to help encourage lymphatic flow, release congested tissue, and re-awaken vitality after the hibernation months.

This is an invigorating & intentional experience that supports circulation, mobility, and energetic clarity while remaining accessible and trauma-informed.

No prior cupping experience is required.

What to Expect

• Gentle silicone cupping integrated into yoga postures
• Breathwork to support lymphatic flow and natural detox pathways
• Kundalini-inspired movement to awaken energy and circulation
• A supportive, small-group environment
• Time for integration, rest, and grounding
• Silicone cups are used during class and are not taken home.
• Cupping sets will be available for optional purchase after the workshop for those who would like to continue the practice at home.

This is a limited, specialty offering. Advance registration is recommended.

Contraindications & Important Information

This workshop is not appropriate for individuals who are:

• Pregnant or possibly pregnant
• Experiencing active infections, fever, or acute illness
• On blood thinners or with bleeding disorders
• Experiencing active cancer or undergoing cancer treatment
• With open wounds, skin infections, rashes, or fragile skin in cupping areas
• With a history of blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, or severe vascular conditions

Astrology 101 – Module 5 (The Inner Planets) (sign up here)

This is the sixth of nine planned hybrid in-person and online workshops covering the basic principles of Astrology taught by South-Central Pennsylvania astrologer Pat Dumas. These classes are formatted so you can take any of them stand-alone or adding on to the previous ones.

Purchase of this workshop tenders lifetime access to the course space and all materials on the Mighty Networks platform. At the end of the nine workshops, the student who attends all classes will have a 9-chapter workbook/text reflecting the basic tenets of astrology, an astrological glossary, and exercises to foster continued retention.

Students participating in the 5th Module of Astro 101 will gain an understanding of:

• the role the planets Mercury, Venus and Mars play in their natal charts
• a way to understand each of these planets in the 12 different zodiac signs
• a way to understand each of these planets in the 12 different houses of the chart
• exposure to natal charts of note-worthy people to provide greater clarity of the role each planet plays by using their charts as examples
• if the student wishes to, using their OWN charts as examples in class to better understand themselves
